What a tremendous season we’ve had so far and it’s only going to get better from here. We are currently up 41.42 units this season (141-102-1) in women’s basketball and had a fairly solid showing throughout the conference tournaments.
Now we get focused for the best stretch in all of sports: March Madness.

Holy Cross vs. Maryland (-26.5) | OVER/UNDER 133.5
Don’t get it twisted, Holy Cross has played some really good ball this season. They play outstanding defense and are fresh off a Patriot League title. Now the Crusaders will try and slow down a Maryland offense that averages 79 points per game (12th). The Terrapins don’t play the greatest defense, however, Holy Cross ranks 236th in scoring offense. A stat that I can’t seem to get over is the Crusaders opponent average winning percentage is 42.1 percent, which ranks 337th out of 361 teams. I expect the Terrapins to wear down Holy Cross and even though it’s a large number, I like Maryland -26.5. I’m not rushing to the window to bet this one but it’s my best bet for this game.
