I know that this is a lot of juice but you have to hear me out. When these teams play each other their bats are COLD early. They have combined for only 8 runs in the F5 in their four matchups this far. You pair that with the fact that you have two of the best pitchers in baseball squaring off in Musgrove (1.86 ERA) and Burnes (1.95 ERA). Musgrove has yet to go less than 6 IP in an appearance and has yet to give up more than 2 ER while Burnes appeared to struggle in his first appearance and has been red hot since then with all of his starts going 6 IP or more and only one game giving up more than 2 ER. I love this matchup and I do not see these teams scoring runs early tonight.
Lightning @ Rangers u5.5 (-120) 1u to win 0.83u
I know that these two teams just combined for 8 goals but this is much more about Vasilevskiy’s stats following a playoff loss. He and the Lightning have been unstoppable following a loss since 2020. He is 17-0 allowing around 1.5 GAA. That is a ridiculous stat and one that can’t be ignored tonight. I like the Lightning in this game but I believe they will have a tough time scoring on Igor as well. I expect amazing goalie play tonight and this game soaring under 5.5 goals.

I think the most likely scenario for this bet to hit is 0-0, but I want to make sure we have everything covered. I think these teams are going to both come out and play great defense tonight but if one team scores, I think the other will come roaring back quickly. Not a ridiculous amount of analysis here, but I see these teams keeping it tight tonight and I love the value on a 1P tie.
