CFB Bowl Season: PG’s Best Bets for 12/17

What a time to be alive, BOWL SEASON IS HERE!

First two games are here and we are excited. Let’s get some winners in the books.

Bahamas Bowl: Toledo -10

Toledo comes in winners of 3 straight. They lost to MAC Champion Northern Illinois by 2, Central Michigan by 3 in overtime, and Eastern Michigan by 3 or they would’ve been undefeated in MAC play.

MTSU comes in on their 3rd and 4th string QB a freshman and a sophomore. Their wins were over FAU, FIU, Southern Miss, UConn, Monmouth, and Marshall.

MTSU beat 1 bowl team to get here.

Toledo played ND very close and have found something with their run first QB Dequan Finn who might be the best athlete on the field Friday morning.

Most power rankings make this a 15 point spread. The Bahamas bowl wont be the prettiest game, it never is, but getting that first bowl underway will be a sweet moment.

Cure Bowl: Coastal Carolina -10.5

We’ve loved the Coastal Carolina Fancy Chickens for 2 years now and we get one last look at the great trio of Isaiah Likely, Grayson McCall, and Shermari Jones. It looks like all 3 studs for Coastal will be playing this Bowl Game.

Northern Illinois gives up 215 yards rushing per game, and running is CCU’s strong suit averaging 231 yards on the ground per game.

There is no doubt the Sun Belt is a much more strong conference than the MAC from top to bottom, this will be an interesting matchup.

NIU has had last second wins a few times this season. Coastal feels like a big step up in competition for them. CCU will run the ball and keep the ball away from NIU’s offense.

CCU’s offense is hard to prepare for because it is so unique. Not many people in CFB run anything like it and McCall is the perfect QB to run it.

Love Coastal to pull away from the Huskies.
