Moneyline Monday: Best Bets for November 29

Outside of the state of Ohio, Monday didn’t go all that well, as the day finished 1-3-1 thanks to the Panthers’ offense still being a mess and the Chargers reverting to previous seasons with turnovers. Still, we’re back on it again today with a mix of college basketball, NBA, NHL and NFL action, so hopefully, Moneyline Monday will be a prime bounce-back day.

Here are my best plays for November 29.

VIRGINIA, -125

Hopefully, you grabbed the Cavaliers early, because the line is moving in the wrong direction here as far as being able to take advantage. Iowa is a quick team that relies on getting a lot of shots, but that is not what happens when you play Virginia. The Cavaliers excel at defense and force opponents to win ugly, and if you can’t do that, you’re not going to win the game. Iowa is likely to get frustrated with its shot selection, leading Virginia to a win.

CANADIENS, -125

Vancouver has been terrible on the road, and the Canucks are on the second night of a back-to-back situation. Plus, they’re coming off having to play the first night of the back-to-back in the United States, which means they had to cross country borders before playing Montreal. That’s normally not a huge deal, but in the era of COVID, it’s a major time suck. I expect the Canucks to come out flat.

PACERS, +120

Indiana likes coming to Minnesota, having covered in six of their past seven trips to the Target Center. I also don’t believe the Wolves are as good as their recent stretch suggests. Minnesota has won six of seven and four straight at home, but the Wolves are also playing their third game in four days and have had to travel from Charlotte to Philadelphia to home. That’s a harder trip than just playing in Milwaukee the night before.

SABRES, +125

Yes, the Kraken are coming off a win over the Panthers in Sunrise, but they haven’t been able to sustain success very well on the road this year. That was just Seattle’s second win on the road of the season, and the last time the Kraken won on the road, they came back with four straight defeats. Buffalo has actually been decent at home, so the price is right to take a shot here.

WYOMING, -200

This line was a lot better last night, so grab this one ASAP. The Cowboys play good defense and shoot the ball well, which should make them too much for Cal State Fullerton to handle. Wyoming looks like it could be a contender in the Mountain West, as it’s off to a 5-0 start.

FOOTBALL TEAM, -105

The Seahawks just look awful right now. The best bet on the board is likely the under, because Seattle just looks incapable of moving the ball anywhere close to the end zone. The Seahawks have gone under eight weeks in a row, and the Football Team is actually playing pretty decent on offense. Washington should be able to score a couple times early, which I don’t think Seattle will be able to overcome.
