WEEK 5 RECAP
Quick recap of Week 5. We saw Russell Wilson go down during a Hawks loss to the Rams. The Falcons went to London and took care of the Rams, in a game where Zach Wilson turned back into a dud. The Pats refused to lose to Houston in a game that saw the Pats score 10 points in the 4th Quarter to ensure their victory. The Lions refused to win against the Vikings, because they left just enough time on the clock to allow the Vikes to escape with a last second victory. The Eagles and Panthers played a visually unappealing game that someone had to win, with the Eagles deciding to seal the deal with a late interception vs Sam Darnold and Carolina.
The New Orleans Saints defeated Washington behind a solid day from Alvin Kamara, likewise for the Tennessee Titans getting a gargantuan game from Derrick Henry to dispose of Jacksonville. The Buccaneers made easy work of the Dolphins, in a game where Tom Brady threw for over 400 yards, and 3 TD’s. The Packers and Bengals REFUSED TO MAKE A FIELD GOAL between the two of them missing 5 FG’s combined since the 2 minute warning, and into overtime, before Mason Crosby finally decided to let fans, and bettors off of the emotional rollercoaster with a game winning FG to defeat the Bengals 25-22. Pittsburgh took care of Denver at Heinz Field, and Justin Fields and the Bears dispatched the Las Vegas Raiders, in a game that proved to be Jon Gruden’s final one as the Head Coach. The Browns lost to the Chargers late, and Justin Herbert keeps proving why he is one of the rising young gunslingers in the league with a great showing in the midst of a 47-42 shootout. Dallas further cemented their status as one of the NFC East heavy hitters with a 44-20 drubbing of the NY Giants, that saw Saquon Barkley, and Daniel Jones both leave with injuries. The Cardinals are further cementing their status as one of the leagues top teams, defeating a Jimmy G, and George Kittle-less San Francisco 49ers team 17-10.
The Bills and Chiefs played a game that was delayed by lightning, but Buffalo was undeterred defeating Kansas City in a game where the Chiefs looked overwhelmed, and overmatched for much of the contest 38-20. The Monday night game saw the Colts snatch defeat from the hands of victory, as the Baltimore Bowl was decided late in OT by Lamar Jackson finding Marquise Brown in the end zone. Capping a 19 point comeback, and also a 400+ yard game, LJ took the Limitless pill Monday morning apparently because that was a true all time best QB performance, and with that, we look forward to Week 6.

WEEK 6 NFL PICKS
Tampa Bay Bucs (-6.5) vs Philadelphia Eagles
The Buccaneers are looking like a buzz-saw on Offense with Brady seemingly flinging the ball around the yard at will. I don’t believe the Eagles with Jalen Hurts, and their offense can do enough to outscore Tampa Bay, I think Tampa Bay’s defense is going to make the Eagles have a long, and difficult day, and I would take TB and the points this weekend.
My Pick- Tampa Bay -6.5
Los Angeles Rams (-10.5) vs New York Giants
Sean McVay has the Rams clicking on all cylinders, and they are even more emboldened since a victory vs the Seattle Seahawks, Matthew Stafford has been moving the ball at his leisure, not really being pressured by opposing defenses too much, and having enough time to file his taxes in the pocket, and I fully expect him to have another 300+ yard game on Sunday. The Giants meanwhile have been struggling all season, but they’ve been in contention (which does nothing if you want them to win) so there is a glimmer of hope in that regard. If they trot Mike Glennon out there at QB though, you can go ahead and break the sound barrier driving to the casino, or your respective sportsbook to make this Rams Moneyline pick. If you can swing it, see if you can take the Rams at a lower number, not that I’m against the -10.5 points per se, but I’m a fan of locking in a lower number if I can at my Sportsbook, to increase my chances of winning.
My Pick- Los Angeles Rams Moneyline
Kansas City Chiefs (-6.5) vs Washington Football Team
We have established at least through the first quarter of the season, that the Chiefs are not equipped to beat their AFC elite brethren, after sustaining losses to the Bills, Ravens, and Chargers. At least not equipped to beat young mobile QB’s, but they have been successful against the NFC East, as evidenced by their 42-30 win over the Eagles, and this weekend will be no different, as the Football Team won’t have enough firepower on defense to slow down Mahomes and company. The Chiefs will be hyper focused this week, and they were after their last defeat, and will win a game that they are supposed to on Sunday. If you can swing it, see if you can take the Kansas City at a lower number, not that I’m against the -6.5 points per se, but I’m a fan of locking in a lower number if I can at my Sportsbook, to increase my chances of winning…… Especially with the way the Chiefs Defense has been playing.
My Pick- Kansas City (Alternate Spread) -3
Indianapolis Colts (-9) vs Houston Texans
The Colts really have a nice offense when they feel like playing. Johnathan Taylor finds ways to accumulate yards, and Carson Wentz had one of the games of his life last week also going for 400+ yards in a loss that they should have won vs the Ravens, and I think they will finally get it together this week going up against Davis Mills, and the Houston Texans. With the Colts not winning against Baltimore, they may be in a malaise on a short week, and although they will win it may be closer than 9 points. Knock the points down if you can, just to be safe.
My Pick- Indianapolis (Alternate Spread) -3
Cincinnati Bengals (-3.5) vs Detroit Lions
The Lions are still in search of their first win, and it seemed like they were in a good position to get it last week, but Kirk Cousins, and the Vikings would not be denied in the waning seconds. The Bengals were also in an insane position….or should I say POSITIONS to win last week vs Green Bay. We will just chalk last week’s game vs Green Bay to having a No FG’s made cheat code that was utilized at multiple times during the game, as both kickers were simply nowhere remotely close to playing at their best. I think we see the Bengals get their offensive game back on track, and Joe Burrow, Joe Mixon, and the rest of the team show up, and get the win vs Detroit.
My Pick- Cincinnati Moneyline
Bonus GAME
Dallas Cowboys (-4) vs New England Patriots
Dak Prescott has been playing like a man possessed this season, and Trevon Diggs has been playing like he has the spirit of Everson Walls, and Deion Sanders in his body this season, so I’m heavy on Dallas this game. Mac Jones is going to have a long day, and I’m not saying the Pats won’t move the ball between the 20’s , I just feel like they may come away with more FG’s than TD’s, so I think Dallas will win, and win comfortably.
My Pick- Dallas Moneyline
