The month of June has not been kind to me. To put it bluntly, I suck. I’m down close to 20 units through the first two weeks of the month and each and every day the betting board looks like a foreign language to me. But today, sports bettors, I have a winner.
The pick: Reds ML (-115)
Cincinnati beat Milwaukee 10-2 Monday thanks to a strong night from rookie Vladimir Gutiérrez. It was the second time in less than a week that the right-hander beat Milwaukee. The Reds are 9-2 in their last 11 and have scored 37 runs in their last four games. The Reds’ offense should be able to stay hot tonight especially against Milwaukee’s Brett Anderson, who has a 6.75 ERA and a 2.158 WHIP in his last three starts.
I need a winner and tonight Cincinnati is putting me back on the winning track.
