It’s a great day to have a great day gamblers! There is a lot of great things happening in the sports world today. We got two NBA Playoffs games, Game 6 of the Avalanche – Golden Knights series, a good slate MLB Games, Game 3 of the Women’s CWS, and super-regionals for the NCAA College World Series of Baseball. There’s so much out there to bet on that anyone needs to take advantage of it. I saw a lot of underdogs today that I think hold value and can give bettors a good profit. Here is my card for the day and my analysis for why these picks are the move.
Game: Nets @ Bucks
Pick: Nets ML (+145)
This line really has me scratching my head. The Nets lead the series 2-0, they embarrassed the Bucks by nearly 40 points in Game 2 without James Harden, and they have been scoring nearly 115+ points nearly all playoffs long. Having the Bucks being favored for this game is really confusing for me with all of that being said. Maybe it is because the Bucks are home, and the Nets are still without James Harden. Nonetheless, the Nets are still playing really good basketball without James Harden, and it is tough for me to think how this line is correct. This is an absolute value move for anyone. Until the Nets prove otherwise, they are on a roll this playoffs, and having them as an underdog should be on nearly everyone’s card for the day.
Game: Clippers @ Jazz
Pick: Clippers ML (+125)
This Clippers team will not shoot as poorly as they did in Game 1 of this series. Kawhi shot 9-19 from the field. Paul George shot 4-17 from the field. Marcus Morris shot 4-14 from the field. All of that being said, and they still only lost to the Jazz by 3. This Clippers team is due for a bounce back game in Salt Lake City. This was only the first loss of the playoffs for the Clippers on the road, and it is incredibly unlikely that the Clippers lose two in a row on the road to go down in the series 2-0. If the Clippers get hot shooting from the field, almost no team in the NBA can stop them, which is why I believe that they will shoot a lot better in Game 2 and pull out a win in Salt Lake City.
Game: Avalanche @ Golden Knights
Pick: Avalanche ML (+115)
The hottest team in hockey has been ice cold lately. After starting the series 2-0, the Avalanche have lost three straight games to the Golden Knights by scores of 3-2, 5-1, 3-2 (OT). The biggest change that has helped the Golden Knights tremendously is starting Marc-Andre Fleury every other game following Game 1, where Robin Lehner gave up 7 goals. However, all season long this Avalanche team has been one of the best in the NHL, tying for the most points in the NHL with 82, going on 10+ winning game streaks several times, this Avalanche team is not one to give up quickly. It will be tough for that Colorado team to win at Las Vegas, but this team will know what is at stake and force a game 7 back to Colorado.
Game: Yankees @ Twins
Pick: Twins ML (+120)
Some people are going to highly disagree with this selection (mostly referring to the Kota Cappers’ own Pumba Cakes when I say this). The Twins need to start getting on a run at some point this season, and getting a win at home to end this 3-game stint with the Yankees is the way to do it. After Gerrit Cole pitched phenomenal yesterday (6.0 IP, 2 ER, 9Ks), the Yankees are bringing on Michael King to the mound today. King has been struggling thus far this season. He has an 0-3 record and a 3.62 ERA. The Twins will be bringing in JA Happ, who although has been struggling with his ERA this year (5.61), he has helped the Twins when he pitches with a 3-2 record. This could be the opportunity the Twins are looking for to get back on the right track and beat the Yankees at Target Field.
Game: Giants @ Nationals
Pick: Giants ML (+162)
A lot of reading this are going to be very surprised that I have this game on my card, especially with the Nationals being at home and have Max Scherzer on the mound. However, this is a big-time value move for me. The Giants have Anthony Desclafani on the mound who has also had a really solid season thus far with a 5-2 record and a 3.51 ERA. Here’s a big reason why this game is on my card and could make a lot of people profitable: THEY HAVE THE BEST RECORD IN THE MLB AND ARE +162 ON THE MONEYLINE! Any time you see a team that has as good of a record, as the Giants do that big of an underdog, you have to place that bet every time. The Giants have the hitters to rattle Scherzer and have a quality starter on the mound to upset the Nationals and home and get betters a huge profit.
It’s incredibly risky to have a 5-game card of all underdogs, but these underdogs are ones that could very easily win and make you a lot of money. As always, bet responsibly, and feel free to fade or tail me at your own discretion. Let’s have a day!
