This evening, two of the more disappointing teams in the league face off at 8:05 Central. Our friendly neighbors to the North, the Toronto Raptors, are visiting my Minnesota Timberwolves. The Wolves, coached by Ryan Saunders, struggle in seemingly every facet of the game. With the worst record in the league, it’s shocking to me that they’re only 2.5 point underdogs. The Raptors are below .500, but they have picked things up after their dreadful start. Coming off of back to back wins against the vaunted Bucks, be wary of the low line this evening. 2.5 seems low, and on the surface it is. However, when you pull back a layer or two, the bookmakers have not slipped up (per usual). Toronto played yesterday and had to travel from Milwaukee to Minneapolis. The Raptors are 0-4 straight up and 1-3 ATS in their games with no rest this season. On top of that, the Raps are 0-5 straight up when they’ve had a rest disadvantage. Long story short, this is a team you should never tail on the second night of a back to back. Don’t fall into the trap.
Even with the Raptors being horrendous on no rest, don’t take the 2 and a half with the Wolves. It’s imperative to not back horrible teams, which, unfortunately, the Wolves are. Despite having no interest in betting the spread here, there is a wager I’ve keyed in on: The over of 225.5. These teams play fast when they face one another. I expect at least one team to reach the 120s. Take the over, enjoy some horrendous defense, and watch the buckets fall.
Love you all, take care.

Over seems like an absolute lock after reading this, the mans 5-0 in his last 5. Everything he touches turns to gold
