Normally, I HATE betting on pick-em games. I try to stay away from them because the risk-reward is not very high. However, Virginia Tech has been playing SUPER well as of lately, scoring 74 points per game and only giving up 64.7. This team has been super impressive all year, and they have surprised many with how they are playing inside the very competitive ACC conference. The Hokies are led by Junior Keve Aluma, who leads the team in points, rebounds, and blocks per game. He has the potential to be a First-Team All Conference player this year, and he is going to make a major impact on this game today.
Notre Dame on the other hand has been struggling this season. The Fighting Irish have a poor overall record of 5-8 overall and are 12th in the ACC conference. They might have a player who might give Keve Aluma a hard time today, and that player is their 6’10 center, Nate Laszewski. The big man is averaging 16 points and nearly 8 boards per game, but he has been the only major positive for the team this season. Notre Dame gives up an average of 74 points per game, which is 255th in the NCAA. The Hokies high-powered offense is just going to be too much for the Fighting Irish Today.
